Jayne Williams (Redcar & Cleveland)
Jayne is an excellent Care Worker who is reliable, always works to best practice principles and communicates clearly and efficiently with the Field Care Supervisors. She knows her clients very well and so is able to notice any changes in their health and immediately feeds this back to her Supervisors.
During our team meetings, she is prompt to report any areas of concern she has, ensuring her clients are always getting the best possible care and support.
Jayne is a caring member of the team, supporting new members of staff and helping them to understand her clients' needs so that they continue to have excellent care. A recent letter from a client's son commends Jayne highly for her great work:
"I would like to nominate Jayne Williams for an award. She has been caring for both my parents for 3 years now and she is extremely dedicated and hard working. Jayne has a great rapport with them both and they enjoy her company. Last week I met her college tutor who was doing an assessment in the house. The tutor said she could not fault Jayne in her work. She treated my parents with respect, understood their conditions extremely well and found innovative solutions to any problems.
"Her professional practice was exemplary and she said, she hoped she could find someone as dedicated as Jayne to look after her parents. An example of Jayne's tenacity, was the issue with my Mum's pads. This issue took Jayne 18 months to resolve, but she persevered and worked with the family, other carers and external agencies to find a successful solution to the problem."
