Caremark wins Bronze for European Franchisor of the Year

Caremark has won Bronze for European Franchisor of the Year at the 2026 European Franchise Awards.

The awards took place on the 17th of September in Brussels and brought together franchise brands from across Europe. Caremark were representing the UK in the Franchisor of the Year category.

It is another major moment for our home care franchise network that have spent more than 20 years growing across the UK and Ireland. And it comes less than a year after Caremark was named BFA Franchisor of the Year, Established Gold 2025.

From UK recognition to the European stage

Winning the BFA title in 2025 was already a significant moment for Caremark.

To then go on to represent the UK at the European Franchise Awards and return with Bronze gives that recognition another dimension.

The European awards bring together franchisors nominated through their national franchise associations, placing Caremark alongside established franchise brands from across the continent.

For us, the award means most when you look at what sits behind it. Caremark has built a home care franchise network of more than 150 offices across the UK and Ireland. Those businesses are independently owned and locally led, but they are backed by a central team that works alongside Franchise Owners at every stage of their journey.

What sits behind an award-winning franchise?

Caremark’s Franchise Support Centre is home to around 40 people, with expertise across operations, quality and compliance, training, marketing, finance, technology, onboarding and more.

That support looks different depending on where a Franchise Owner is in their business. Someone opening their first office may be working through registration, recruitment and launch. A more established office may be growing its management team, expanding into new areas of care or planning its next stage.

The support has to move with them.

And one of the best measures of whether that is working comes from the people running Caremark businesses themselves.

In 2026, Caremark achieved Five-Star Franchisee Satisfaction following confidential, independent feedback collected by WorkBuzz. The survey covers areas including training and support, the franchise system, leadership, culture and overall satisfaction.

That feedback comes directly from Franchise Owners living and working within the model every day. Now it is being reinforced by recognition from outside the network too. Franchise Owners are rating the support and leadership around them highly, while independent judging teams in both the UK and Europe have recognised the strength of Caremark as a franchisor.

What comes next for Caremark?

Bronze in Europe is something the whole network can be proud of. But Caremark is not standing still.

New franchise territories remain available across the UK, while existing Franchise Owners continue to grow their businesses, build teams and develop the care they provide in their local communities.

Caremark is investing alongside them. The Support Centre is expanding. The systems used across the network continue to develop. More specialist expertise is being added behind Franchise Owners. And the focus remains on giving local businesses the support they need as they grow.

And while awards are never the reason for doing the work, being recognised first as BFA Franchisor of the Year in the UK and now with Bronze for Franchisor of the Year in Europe gives us a good reason to believe that work is heading in the right direction.
