Caremark Greenwich Companionship Visit to Sikh Temple

Here at Caremark Greenwich, we are committed to meeting not only the needs of our customers, but we will do what we can to meet any requests made, to ensure we provide a bespoke and wholesome experience to each and every one of our clients.
It had been a desire for one of our valued customers to visit a Sikh Temple for a while, whilst wanting an as authentic experience as possible.
It so happens that our Managing Director (Sukhvir Gill) was brought up in a Sikh family frequently visits both his local temple and the largest Gurdwara (Sikh Temple) in Europe situated in the Kent town of Gravesend.

Upon arrival learning about the customs to adhered to whilst visiting the temple was an interesting discovery for our client and the sheer size of the temple was an impressive sight to see.

Shoes removed and heads covered, they were ready to go to explore more interesting facts about the Sikh religion and how the temple operates to host not only religious ceremonies such as: weddings, funeral rights, etc. but also the variety of community support and classes held at the temple. For more information on the temple and their activities, visit: www.gurunanakdarbar.org
Through using one of the elevators present to reach one of the upper open prayer rooms, Sukhvir and our client sat as customary in the hall, with a priest residing and reading the holy scriptures.
Whilst sitting and listening to the holy scriptures being recited, Sukhvir was quizzed with several questions about the Sikh religion and customers by our client, testing his knowledge and learnings of his faith.

And so, a wonderful trip out to visit a new and fascinating place comes to an end, but hopefully it will stir the curiosity in you, and we will expect you to get in touch to ask us about any venture or visit you’d like to partake in or travel to and how Caremark Greenwich can support you or your loved ones on their community access.
