The last couple of months have been extremely busy for us. So we thought we would share with you what’s been happening here at Caremark Cheltenham and Tewkesbury. Here is our Summer update.

Training day

Firstly, its 19th June and training day here at Caremark Cheltenham and Tewkesbury. 12 of our wonderful carers are in our training room today for Peg Feed and Stoma training ready for the discharge of a lovely client who requires peg feeding as part of their ongoing care package.

One of our lovely clients, Bill, turns 100!

Bill flew Vulcans in the RAF and only went over the speed of sound once, just to see what happened!

More from our Summer update

Meanwhile, Emily and Frances attended the Stroud Country Show on Saturday 13th July. It was a really busy day with enquiries coming in from prospective carers wanting to know whether we used ‘bank staff’, whether we had rounds in Stroud and Stonehouse and what our recruitment process involved. Joshi our Caremark Care Bear attracted the attention of several young children and of course their mums wanted to find out whether they could work limited hours – of course!

At the end of the afternoon Emily was rewarded for all her hard work with a well deserved pint from Stroud Brewery

Unfortunately, Mike Folkes was tied up at IKEA and wasn’t able to get to the Stroud Show – but no doubt he enjoyed some Swedish Meatballs instead?!

Final bit of news from our Summer Update

Success! 3 trainees from their induction training with Jenny, our in-house trainer, have all PASSED.

We hope you have enjoyed our Summer update!
