Caremark (Redcar & Cleveland) sponsorship helps local football team hit the back of the net
Across the UK, Caremark franchisees and their care teams are constantly engaging with their local community in many ways. In a prime example, the team at Caremark (Redcar & Cleveland) is sponsoring local group of young footballers Redcar Town Girls Under-13s.
As one of only 3% of care providers to be rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission in England, Caremark (Redcar & Cleveland) goes above and beyond and is fully committed to supporting the community it works within.
After launching a community transport service
, implementing regular initiatives to recognise its staff
, and encouraging care workers to support local good causes
, the office is now sponsoring the group for the next two seasons. The company has paid £432 to provide 16 full blue and white strips for the girls who play in the North East Girls’ League.
Manager Paula Lowe said: “As a grassroots club, we rely on the generosity of local businesses and people to enable us to provide footballing opportunities for children of all ages and donations like this are particularly well-received.
“It has enabled us to buy brand new kits for the girls for the next two seasons and having finished second in the league last year, we’re hoping it will now spur us on to first place. The girls couldn’t have got off to a better start and are loving wearing their new strips.
“We would like to thank Caremark (Redcar and Cleveland) for their amazing support.”
Caremark (Redcar and Cleveland) Care Manager Michelle Jackson said: “The daughter of one of our members of staff plays for the team, so we’re always happy to support our employees and the local communities in which we provide care.
“As an outstanding company sponsoring an outstanding team, it’s a match made in heaven!”
The sponsorship is clearly already paying off for the girls, who have won their first five games of the season scoring 49 goals and only conceding 1. They are already on their way to emulating the success of their new sponsors by having an ‘outstanding’ season on the pitch.
