Caremark (Redcar and Cleveland) in-home carers thanked for their efforts during the pandemic.
Carers are nominated by their clients who want their efforts during the coronavirus pandemic to be recognised.
Carers across the country are being recognised for their hard work throughout the pandemic. Each year Caremark (Redcar and Cleveland) hosts an awards ceremony for their staff, where clients nominate their carers.
This year saw 161 nominations, with three winners chosen from each of the main areas the company covers. There was also an award for the employee of the year.
Pam Rangjob, Donna Robertson and Beverley Dodds each won the carer of the year award for their area. Yvonne Jones, care planning coordinator, won employee of the year, which was judged by the management team.
Clients praised their carers for the care they have given them, allowing them to stay in their homes throughout the pandemic. Michelle Jackson, managing director for the Redcar and Cleveland branch, said: "We were overwhelmed by the numbers of nominations we received from customers and their families, but it was clear they were all very grateful for the support we gave them during the year.
“It is an amazing feeling that we get to say thank you and are able to show our appreciation to so many of our wonderful carers and also able to involve our customers in this process."
