Thanks for Supporting our Fundraising Mission!

In June, the Caremark Team made it their mission to raise as much money as possible for Cash for Kids, to support children and young people whose lives have been affected by poverty and neglect. Our Staff took part in a range of fundraising activities, including a 100-mile bike ride, open water swimming, wacky hair day and even mountain climbing! So many of you supported us with donations, and we raised over £800 in total- we’re incredibly grateful!

Cash for Kids works with grassroots organisations throughout the UK, providing grants and financial assistance to support families who need it the most. They can assist with payments for essential items such as food, clothing or anything which improves quality of life. For children with additional needs, grants can be used as a contribution towards specialist equipment, therapies or respite care. The charity supports those who face disadvantage to enjoy a better quality of life, and we couldn’t think of a greater mission to get behind.

As you know, we had a lot of fun throughout the month. Our amazing Team really went the extra mile with their fundraising activities. We enjoyed sporty challenges such as a 100-mile bike ride, open-water swimming, even scaling the 1500+ ft to the top of Mam Tor! In the office, it was great to see the creative hairstyles that people chose for crazy hair week, and we loved sampling everyone’s cakes during the bake-off competition. So many of you got involved and we have never been prouder.

We’re proud to share that together, we managed to raise a whopping £874! These funds have been passed along to Cash for Kids, who will use them to support young people within our local area. The money will be distributed as grants to families, community organisations and other charities who apply to Cash for Kids for assistance. We think it’s great that the funds we raised together will be circulated back into our community and will make a difference to the lives of young people within our local area! Together, we have helped to ensure that several children have access to regular meals, warm clothes and a safe place to sleep.

We would like to thank everyone who has joined in with a fundraising activity or donated. It has been incredible to see what can happen when our Staff and Clients unite over a shared cause. We are incredibly grateful, and so proud of our Caremark family. Together, we have raised £874 for an incredible charity which will have a huge impact within our community!
