Christopher Timothy now known as Anthony (to the HMRC), who will not clean as he is preserving the dust mites, joined us for coffee this morning. He wasn’t keen on eating cake as apparently it is carcinogenic. Anthony enjoys litter picking and salvaging hidden ‘gems’ from the bushes. He kept us all entertained with his many anecdotes.
Local residents Lois and Grahame made themselves at home with several games of Bananagrams but it was our recruitment manager Emily who stole the show with her lightning fast word formation.
When Lois heard that Caremark were looking for their next ‘Coffee and Cake morning venue’, she suggested we look at St Pips and St Jims, Leckhampton.
“the office is open every day between 9.00am and 1.00pm”, she said.
Moira and Margaret, also local to St Stephens Church said how lovely it was that Caremark were holding these coffee and cake mornings and that they would look out for the next invitation to drop through their letter boxes. Moira was very complimentary about Caremark saying
“it was difficult in the first place to have people into my home to look after my husband, but the carers are really wonderful and do a great job”.
