Rising demand for our services in Bradford
Rising demand for our services in Bradford has resulted in a pledge to create up to 25 new jobs over the next 12 months. This comes on the back of recently opening a new office in the city.
Caremark Bradford only started providing care in the city at the end of 2023. In two years we have built a base of over 50 regular customers. These customers are supported by 25 Care Assistants and five office staff.
Now, after moving to premises on the Euroway Industrial Estate and becoming a Bradford Metropolitan District Council approved provider of homecare, we are planning to grow further. As a result, we have set a target of increasing the number of care hours each week from 900 to 2,000 over the next 12 months.
To do this, we will need to double its current staff numbers in Bradford. Therefore, we have begun a recruitment campaign to attract more Care Assistants.
Her successful Caremark Leeds business
Caremark Bradford was established by Farina Tayub. This was on the back of her successful Caremark Leeds business which she set up in 2008. Caremark Leeds employs 125 staff and provides around 2,000 hours of care in that city.
Farina said: “We were edging ever closer to Bradford whilst providing care in Leeds. It therefore made sense to establish a separate company which could concentrate solely on delivering homecare services in Bradford.
“We were delighted to be accepted as an approved provider by Bradford Metropolitan Council and have worked hard over the last two years growing our business in the city.
“We have now taken this further by opening a permanent office in Bradford and we plan to use this a springboard to grow further and increase our customer base.
A range of home support services are available
The support Caremark Bradford provides ranges from simple things such as helping with meals and medication, through to companionship and community access. Additionally, we provide more complex care for people with disabilities.
