Covid-19 cases fall in Worcestershire.
The number of new coronavirus cases recorded in the county has continued to fall according to the latest figures.
A total of 1,428 new Covid cases were recorded in Worcestershire in the week up to July 31 – a drop of almost a third compared to the previous week.
Public Health England said the number of new cases recorded in Worcester dropped by 40 per cent in a week to 257 and new cases almost halved in Malvern Hills to 104 for the week.
A total of 339 cases were recorded in Wychavon, which includes Evesham, Pershore and Droitwich dropping slightly by six per cent when compared to the week before.
