This role involves walking between clients’ homes, usually around 5–15 minutes apart, to provide high-quality care and support. By joining as a walking Care Assistant, you can build connections across your neighbourhood while supporting others. Using an E-bike on your route can help make each journey quicker and smoother for walkers, too.
We welcome applications from both experienced carers and people who are completely new to care. Full training will be provided. Walkers who use an electrically-assisted bike, like an E-bike, may find the role even more accessible.

About the Role:

We are seeking a new Care Team Leader at Caremark Worcester, within this position you can take your experience and grow within the care industry. If you are ready to take the next step, you will be working closely with the office management team and your colleagues to help deliver the best quality care service.
This role is primarily to provide support to customers, however as Care Team Leader you would be expected to assist the Field Care Supervisor with the following:
- New staff to shadow shift. Completing a full introduction to care, ensuring staff are aware of procedures to follow and understand their role in providing care. Very supportive to ensure retention of staff. Ensuring staff have a full understanding of how Access works.
- Reporting any concerns to the office regarding staff or customers.
- Ensuring medication is correct with customers.
- Building a proper rapport with staff, customers, and office staff. Promoting Caremark and building relationships.
- Cover of the on-call emergency phone.
- Guiding and mentoring Care and Support Workers, as requested by the Deputy Manager.
- Introductory visits with new customers.
- Spot checks, moving and handling & medication checks.
- Collecting information and documentation from a customers home as requested by the managers.
- Providing Care & Support to our customers.
Training will be provided, but it is expected that the Care Team Leader would have experience delivering care. There are opportunities to progress within Caremark Worcester and Malvern Hills.

Field Care Supervisor
For this senior role we are looking for applicants who have at least two years previous experience in domiciliary care or experience as a Field Care Supervisor. This is a full time position with 40 hours per week guaranteed.
Your role as a Field Care Supervisor:
- Oversee a list of service users designated by undertaking client reviews, risk assessments, care plan updates, handovers, assessments for our reablement service.
- Liaise with Social Services and other health professionals about changes in circumstances and requirements to maintain customers required level and standard of service.
- Oversee a team of staff assigned to you by performing supervisions, undertaking competency checks & spot checks, training new members of staff where required in the community and ensuring staff are happy within their roles.
- This is rewarding role and integral to the service we provide, teamwork and a proactive approach is essential.
- Field Care Supervisors are responsible for the efficient running of their own specific, defined areas and should vary their hours of work in order to effectively monitor and support all Care & Support Workers and clients.
