20 Acts of Kindness
To mark the national Caremark organisation’s 20th anniversary this year, we launched our own 20 Acts of Kindness, which is a heartfelt way to give back and celebrate the amazing community which has supported us over the years
As part of the celebrations, we gave away 20 fantastic trip-based prizes after holding a free raffle at our four summer day centres, which were well attended as always.
Our 20 lucky winners all received expenses paid trips to The Metrodome, Jump Inc, Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Cineworld and Cleethorpes, to name just a few.
Chelsea enjoyed her experience
Among those who have already enjoyed their experience are Chelsea, who went to Yorkshire Wildlife Park with her daughter Ruby and Support Worker Sophie.
She said: “I was shocked when I discovered I had won and I had never been to Yorkshire Wildlife Park before, so it was a fantastic day out.”
Roxanne said her daughter, Destiny, really enjoyed her trip to Jump Inc.
“Destiny absolutely loved it and came back full of smiles, which was wonderful,” she said.
A trip to the coast
Karen’s daughter Willow won a trip to the coast, in Cleethorpes.
“Willow loved taking the train and going with her Support Workers, especially Charles who always goes and above beyond for us,” she said.
“We went to the beach, the amusements and had something to eat, so it was very nice.”
We would like to thank everyone who took part and helped make this celebration one to remember – we hope everyone had as good a time as Chelsea, Destiny and Willow did.
