Caremark Liverpool’s Easter 2024 Afternoon Tea
At Caremark Liverpool, we’re dedicated to fostering a sense of community and combating loneliness among the elderly. Recently, we hosted an Easter Afternoon Tea event aimed at bringing our clients together for a day of companionship, laughter, and delicious treats.
The event, held to tackle loneliness and isolation that many elderly individuals experience, was a huge success. Our clients were treated to a delightful spread, including sandwiches, snacks, cakes, and, of course, tea and coffee. But more than just indulging in tasty treats, they had the opportunity to connect with one another as well as out dedicated staff team who volunteered their time to make the event special.
The atmosphere was filled with warmth and friendship as clients engaged in lively conversations, shared stories, and enjoyed each other’s company. For many attendees, it was a rare chance to socialise and interact with others outside of their homes. One attendee summed up the sentiment perfectly, stating, “I had a brilliant time. I rarely go out of the house nowadays, so it was good to socialise and chat with other people again. I want to say thank you to everyone at Caremark Liverpool; the girls are brilliant!”
In addition to the delightful refreshments and conversations, the afternoon was filled with fun activities, including bingo and other games. Laughter echoed throughout the room as our clients and staff alike participated in friendly competition and shared moments of joy.
