Celebrating Community and Inclusion at CASPA’s Green Mile Event

We were honoured to sponsor this year’s Green Mile event, hosted by CASPA – a charity that supports autistic children, young people, and their families across the community.
The event took place on 22nd June 2025 and brought together families, friends, and local supporters for a joyful day of movement, laughter, and connection. Participants were encouraged to run, walk, skip, hop, or jump their way through a one-mile course, promoting inclusivity and raising funds for a truly inspiring cause.
From toddlers in trainers to grandparents cheering on the sidelines, the atmosphere was nothing short of magical. It was a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to support each other.

A Day Full of Highlights
One of the standout moments of the day was the involvement of the Mayor of Bromley, Councillor Jonathan Andrews – Bromley’s youngest-ever mayor, and a passionate advocate for inclusion. He spent time speaking with families, cheering on participants, and bringing a warm and encouraging presence to the event.

Mayor Andrews shared:
“CASPA is my chosen charity for the year because, as someone with autism myself, I know how important it is to have organisations like this that provide safe, welcoming spaces for young people to thrive.”
His heartfelt message resonated with many and underscored the importance of CASPA’s work in the community.
Why It Matters
Events like the Green Mile do more than raise money – they build awareness, reduce stigma, and give families a sense of belonging. Every pound raised and every step taken helps CASPA continue their vital work in providing opportunities, safe spaces, and lifelong support to autistic individuals.
