One of our longest standing clients Lavinia and her amazing and remarkable talent truly exemplifies the amazing talent we often celebrate at Caremark.
Caremark Arun wanted to share the amazing talent of one of our longest standing clients, Lavinia. She is such an inspiration and we wanted to share her story and her latest achievement which is knitting us our very own Caremark bear!

Meet Lavinia — one of our truly incredible clients who has always inspired us with her talent that is nothing short of amazing.
Lavinia began knitting before the age of 10 and continued her passion for many years, right up until she experienced a stroke a couple of years ago. After that, she stopped knitting altogether.

When Shay first met Lavinia, he asked her what she missed most. Her answer was simple: knitting. It’s another example of how those with amazing levels of talent sometimes need encouragement to shine again.
When he gently asked why she had given it up, Lavinia shared that she didn’t believe she would be able to do it again after her stroke.
Shay’s response was encouraging and clear: “If you don’t try, you won’t know.”
Progress and perseverance!
Three years on, Lavinia is now back to knitting anything and everything she sets her mind to, proving just how talent can be amazing in its resilience. She has even knitted us a blue Caremark teddy bear and stitched our Caremark name onto it!
We decided as a team to name the bear, Charlie! Charlie is our new Caremark mascot hear at Caremark Arun!
An inspiration to us all!
Her journey is a powerful reminder of resilience, determination, and the incredible things that can happen when we believe in ourselves. In short, stories of amazing talent like Lavinia’s motivate us every day.
