A huge welcome to Caremark Arun’s new care manager, Ellie! We want to extend a warm welcome to our new care manager as she joins the team, bringing with her a wealth of experience.
With 37 years of experience in the care sector, Ellie has dedicated her career to improving the lives of others through compassionate, person-centred support. Indeed, welcoming our new care manager means bringing this level of experience and compassion to Caremark Arun and we are excited to first hand experience her commitment and dedication.
A Lifelong Career in Care
Ellie’s journey in care began at a young age, working in a care home serving breakfasts before school. She continued to gain experience in a variety of residential care settings, primarily working night shifts, before moving into the learning disabilities sector in her mid-twenties.
Developing Expertise in Learning Disabilities
Ellie joined a day centre supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex behaviours, initially working as a Day Activities Coordinator. Through her commitment and leadership, she progressed through several roles and eventually became Day Centre Manager. It was clear that a Caremark Arun have embraced this new chapter, given Ellie’s achievements so far.
Her expertise in person-centred support led to opportunities to work across the country, supporting managers and teams to develop inclusive, individualised approaches to care. During this time, Ellie became the company’s Inclusion Lead and gained numerous qualifications, building extensive knowledge in person-centred care, inclusion, and best practice.
Leadership with Caremark
Ellie joined Caremark Worthing & Adur in 2014 as a Care Coordinator. Her dedication and leadership skills saw her progress to Deputy Manager, where she successfully managed the service during the Registered Manager’s maternity leave.
In 2018, Ellie was appointed Registered Care Manager at Caremark Chichester, leading the service for eight years. In 2026, she moved to Caremark Arun to take on the role of Care Manager closer to home.
Passion for Person-Centred Care
Throughout her career, Ellie has remained committed to delivering outstanding person-centred care. She believes every individual should be at the heart of the support they receive and strives to ensure that every customer is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Her wealth of experience, leadership, and dedication make her a valued member of the Caremark Arun team and she has been welcomed with open arms.
