System Outage- Update
We would like to take this opportunity to keep our Clients, Staff and commissioning partners updated as to our recent system outage following a detected cyber attack.
Advanced, who provide our rostering system that helps plan our Support Workers rotas, invoicing, payroll and management reports, has been subject to a cyber-attack which has resulted in the complete outage of the software system.
We would like to reassure you that we have put in place robust manual systems to ensure that we continue to manage the service safely during this time. We have increased our customer and staff contact through daily conversations to ensure the service is consistently being delivered. We’re pleased to say there has been zero disruption so far however if anyone experiences any issues with any aspect of support then please contact the office immediately and we will ensure that we work to rectify the situation.
There is no evidence that the data of any customers or staff have been affected by a potential or actual breach of data. We will of course continue to monitor this situation and advise you if this changes.
Advanced are working hard to resolve the outage and have us back up and running as soon as possible. The outage affects parts of the NHS and Local Authorities and other Care providers as such it is being treated as a very high priority.
