Proud to be a sponsor

Caremark Rotherham and Sheffield is proud to be a sponsor of an event which brings together people and organisations working in the field of brain injury and complex case management.

Three members of our team, Managing Director Mark McKenning, Complex Care Manager Diane Taylor and Case Leader Kirsty Vickers, are among those attending two-day British Association of Brain Injury and Complex Case Management (BABICM) conference at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

This is the first time we have been a sponsor and we are delighted to support the work of an organisation like BABICM who do such great work within a sector very close to our hearts here at Caremark Rotherham and Sheffield.

BABICM is the representative body providing a structure for the continued professional advancement of case management and promoting best practice to address and manage the needs of people with brain injury and other complex condition

Over the two days, a range of speakers will discuss the main themes of this year’s event, which are:

Advancing Knowledge for Complex Challenges – covering a range of different social aspects for clients that often present challenges for case managers, including contact with the criminal justice system, dating, internet safety and risk-taking behaviour.

The Family Mosaic: Diversity, Connection, and Changing – considering the wider family and social system surrounding the client covering aspects of pregnancy and parenting after spinal cord injury, supporting whole families after brain injury, gender identity and injury, as well as making the case for couples counselling.

Across both days attendees will hear about lived experiences, clinical views, legal perspectives and research evidence providing valuable CPD for anyone involved in working with people affected by life changing injury
