Exciting few months of fun
We’re got an exciting few months of fun lined up for our clients and other young members of our community.
Using our day centre in Newton Hall, Chapeltown, we have been running several events in July and August, starting with an afternoon of fun, games and activities on 30th July which included free snacks and refreshments being served throughout.
Then, on 6th August we held our annual summer gala. There were lots of activities, stalls and games to take part in and we also had an ice cream van on site selling ice creams and ice lollies at very reasonable prices, along with free food and refreshments.
Action-packed event
The fun continues on 20th August with another action-packed event for people to enjoy, with proceedings starting at 10am and running until 3pm.
Our summer of fun ends on 27th with another event at our day centre, which runs from 10am to 3pm.
Full supervision will be provided at each event and in a very safe and welcoming environment, so we hope to see as many of our clients and families there as possible. Please RSVP to Jade Gibson at our Rotherham head office to enable us to get an idea of numbers.

As part of the celebrations to mark 20 years of Caremark, we continued our 20 Acts of Kindness initiative at the summer events by handing our raffle prizes to our clients and their families. The prizes were a family swim or accessible swimming at Barnsley Metrodome, family or accessible access to Yorkshire Wildlife Park, family or accessible access to Jump, a family or client trip to the seaside for the day, with lunch, travel and £20 to spend in the arcade and a family or accessible access to Cineworld.
