Back of the net

Caremark Rotherham and Sheffield is willing Support Worker Sophie Vickers to hit the back of the net this season.

We are delighted to sponsor 24-year-old Sophie as she plays for the Rossington Main Ladies Reserves in Division 2 of the Sheffield and Hallamshire League.

A striker, Sophie has played football since she was three-years-old, starting with Barnsley Football Club. She also joined the Sheffield United Football Club Centre of Excellence where she played against the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United. Sophie has previously played with and against current England platers Esme Morgan and Ellie Roebuck.

At her previous club, Dearne and District, Sophie was top goal scorer in consecutive seasons and is hoping to continue in the same vein for her new club.

Sophie joined Caremark in 2019 and has developed her knowledge and experience to become a very successful and highly regarded Support Worker. She also recently bought her first house, something which she is really proud of.

We are also very proud of Sophie and wish her all the best with her new team during the new season.
