A Snapshot of Our 2023

Over the course of 2023, our fabulous team has accomplished so much. We wanted to highlight some of the ‘best bits’ of the year for you to read!

We supported many different clients in 2023- many with behavioural differences, or specific clinical requirements such as tracheostomy, PEG feeds or epilepsy. We completed the year having delivered a significant number of home visits to our clients. The team also spent many hours providing overnight respite care, which allowed our clients to have restful nights, and their parents and guardians to take time to rest themselves.

We also helped our clients to spend time outside of their homes and access the community. Our Support Workers accompanied clients on shopping trips, days out and more. This support opened up opportunities for clients to enjoy an ordinary, fulfilled life despite their support needs.

Our Management Team consists of a combined 209 years of experience in the care industry! 87 of these years are experienced within the Caremark organisation, working with our brilliant Support Workers to ensure they are happy and equipped to deliver excellent care. In 2023, our Support Work team completed upwards of 2900 hours in training, shadowing and internal touchpoints (such as supervisions, team meetings and annual appraisals).

Professional development has always been a priority for us, but this year our team went above and beyond, engaging in a huge amount of training to ensure they were providing the highest quality of care. We appreciate how committed our Support Workers are to their work with our clients, and their dedication to supporting them at the highest standard.

Our team are confident with the training facilities which they can access to provide this support. As a result, in 2023 our retention sat at a record rate of 95%, with only a 5% staff turnover rate! We want to thank our Support Work Team for a brilliant year. We have achieved so much, thanks to your dedication and commitment.
