To achieve this ambitious goal, Caremark Plymouth organised a series of raffles throughout the year. These raffles featured a variety of beautifully themed hampers, each tailored to delight and engage supporters. Among the prizes were:

To wrap up the year in the spirit of Christmas, the grand finale was a Marks & Spencer’s Food Hamper packed with seasonal goodies that promised festive joy.

The funds raised allowed the team to purchase a special gift for every customer: a fleecy blanket. These blankets were chosen with care, recognising that many older people feel the cold more intensely, particularly in light of rising heating costs and the loss of winter fuel allowances for some. The gift of a blanket symbolised warmth, security, and the thoughtfulness of the Caremark Plymouth team.
A Sweet Treat with a Personal Touch
Adding a festive touch, Mary Sobey—a cherished friend of Caremark Plymouth—knitted an incredible 100 Santa hats. These handmade creations were used to decorate Terry’s Chocolate Oranges, which were included as a sweet treat for customers to enjoy. Mary’s dedication and craftsmanship brought an extra layer of love to this thoughtful gift.
