Celebrating a Major Milestone at Caremark Mole Valley & Waverley

Caremark Mole Valley & Waverley is proudly celebrating a 5-year milestone since the company’s takeover in 2021. Over the past five years, the company has achieved significant growth while continuing to provide trusted home care, dementia care, live-in care, and domiciliary care services to families across the local community.
Celebrating a Major Milestone
Since the takeover, the company has grown more than three times in size, strengthening its reputation for delivering compassionate, person-centred care and high-quality support.
“Five years ago, we took over Caremark Mole Valley & Waverley with a vision to grow, strengthen, and make a real difference in our community. Today, we are proud of how far the company has come and the incredible team behind it.”
— Afzal Wahla, Managing Director

Growth at Caremark Mole Valley & Waverley
Taking over an established company came with challenges. However, through resilience, consistency, and a hands-on approach, Caremark Mole Valley & Waverley has continued to strengthen its reputation for compassionate, person-centred care.
The company has also benefited from strong leadership over the years. Tara Matier, who served as Manager until 2025, played an important role during a key stage of development and stability.
Building on this foundation, Sara Mahmood joined last year and has brought a noticeable positive shift within the organisation. Importantly, with a strong focus on structure, accountability, and team support, operations have become more organised. Additionally, tasks are completed on time, and carers feel more supported and valued in their roles.
Today, Sara is considered one of the true backbones of the team.
Working closely behind the scenes is Saleena Khan, who joined the company last year. She now supports the smooth coordination of daily operations.
Further strengthening the leadership team, Pinaz Wahla has recently stepped into the role of Joint Director. She continues her long-standing support in marketing and business development.
The Team Behind Caremark Mole Valley & Waverley
One of the most inspiring journeys within the company is that of Millie Gilbert, who has been with the company since the very beginning. She started as a Care Assistant. Through dedication and passion for care, she has grown into her current role as Field Care Supervisor.
Today, Millie stands alongside Sara as one of the true backbones of the team. She supports carers, maintains quality standards, and helps ensure excellent care is delivered every day.
A special acknowledgement also goes to long-standing carers Sandra Smith and Sally Thompson, who have been with Caremark for many years, even before the takeover. Their loyalty and commitment truly reflect the values of the company.
The company is also proud of its diverse workforce, including international and sponsored care workers. Their dedication and hard work have played a vital role in supporting the company’s continued growth.

Supporting People with Compassion and Dignity
Through strong leadership, compassionate carers, and high standards, Caremark Mole Valley & Waverley has achieved more than three times growth since the takeover. As a result, the company now supports more families across Leatherhead, Dorking, Farnham, Godalming, Fetcham, Ashtead, Bookham, and nearby areas.
Caremark Mole Valley & Waverley focuses on delivering compassionate and person-centred care. The team helps people remain independent, comfortable, and safe in their own homes.
