PatchCare® has been featured in the CQC’s annual report 2018/2019
We are very excited to see that PatchCare® has been featured in the CQC’s annual State of Care report 2018/19. This report has national importance and is shared with many audiences, including commissioners, providers, the general public, and Parliament.
PatchCare® is described as a ‘new approach to domiciliary care’ which was developed by Caremark’s CEO, Kevin Lewis, in response to the key issues facing the adult social care sector. The State of Care report highlights some of the key improvements of PatchCare® for customers, staff, providers and healthcare services: –
• reduced loneliness and social isolation
• helping individuals to achieve their personal goals with positive outcomes
• a more responsive and flexible service
• reduced burden on some primary and secondary healthcare services (e.g.: ambulance call-outs)
• multiple benefits for staff that include regular guaranteed shifts / wages, improved team communication by utilising technology, and upskilling opportunities
• improved staff retention for the provider
