Caremark’s response to the Coronavirus March 2020
This is understandably a very worrying time for everyone and even more so for our vulnerable customers and our front line staff.
Here at Caremark, we have considered the actions we need to take as a care provider to ensure our customer’s safety and that of our Care and Support Worker’s remains out paramount consideration. We have updated our risk assessment and adopted the guidance from the Government and Public Health England. All of our customers and staff have been written to and are aware of the actions we have implemented.
Staff training is up to date and all staff have received a refresher on infection control training. All staff are to wear full PPE when supporting customers. We fortunately have a good stock of gloves, masks, aprons and visors.
Caremark continues to remain updated on how to limit the spread of the virus by following government guidance and guidance from our regulatory authority the Care Quality Commission, the UK Home Care Association and Public Health England.
We appreciate that this is a worrying time for everyone so if you wish to know more about how we are reacting to the virus to ensure the safety of our customers, staff and Care and Support Workers then please feel free to contact us on 01708 393178.
