CQC Inspection In Progress…

Initial Inspection Feedback Summary, 04/01/2023

An inspection by the CQC can be a worrying time for some care services. This is our first CQC visit as a new team providing home care in Harrogate and Knaresborough, and it is a little bit scary. But, we’ve been working hard over the past six months, and we’re all really proud of the brilliant work we’ve done. Which means we’re really excited about showcasing Caremark Harrogate and are looking forward to the outcome.

As well as looking at our records, CQC have spoken to some of the people who receive our service. They have also been in touch with their families, friends and the other professionals who support them. Thank you to everyone who shared so many lovely compliments about the team. The Inspector has also contacted our care assistants to find out what they think of Caremark Harrogate, and what it’s like to work here. The comments we’ve received from our care assistants are all so supportive of the changes we’ve made. Thank you all for choosing to be part of our Caremark family, you are incredible!

The process hasn’t finished so, we don’t have an updated rating yet, but we have received the initial feedback from our CQC Inspector. The feedback has been 100% positive, it’s great to know that we’re getting it right. In fact, we’re so pleased that we had to share the quote above whilst we wait for the final results.
