We absolutely believe in creating pathway opportunities for our team that will enable their ongoing development together with that of our service. When we identify individuals with the same characteristics, values, passion and ethos as us we want to help them to grow with us and take the next step on their progression pathway.
We have created a proven roadmap for our amazing staff to progress, with the support and guidance from our Team. In turn this provides essential guidance and support for our Support Workers- growing their skills and confidence. We are passionate about people and love great people to progress- with that in mind we’re delighted to share two of our Team’s recent progression.
Sophie joined Caremark way back in 2019, as a Support Worker, this was her first role within the care industry. Like any new-starter, she didn’t really know what to expect and had all the normal thoughts and fears that come with any new role, however, it was clear that after just a few weeks this was the perfect position for her! Sophie has consistently demonstrated that she has the same values as us- she’s hardworking, dedicated, committed, intelligent and most of all, caring. As Sophie has progressed in her role she has trained to support some of our more clinically complex customers. She supports customers in their own homes, school, holidays, trips away and adventures, she has strong communication skills and lots of essential energy! As Sophie has progressed, her confidence and knowledge have grown, so much so that she has mentored a number of newer staff to help their introduction to care be a positive one, where they really feel our support and guidance.
We look forward to Sophie continuing to develop and progress on her journey, she’s already made a huge contribution to our team and we really look forward to her continued progress.
Vicky joined our Team in June 2018 as a Support Worker, with over 14 years’ experience within complex care environments and specialist settings. Vicky prefers to work through the night with her dedicated customers and provides incredible support to the individuals she consistently cares for. Since joining our team, she has matured into a strong individual who thrives to achieve the best outcomes for our customers. Vicky has worked within some challenging situations and has grown her confidence and developed her care practice enabling her to achieve the best care possible.
As Vicky has progressed, her knowledge and confidence has grown- we’re now able to cascade this to others to support them to become consistent, professional and confident Support Workers.
Throughout her employment with our organisation Vicky has demonstrated she shares the same values and ethics as us- she cares, she’s loyal, hardworking, intelligent and reliable.
We’re delighted that both individuals have now progressed to Senior Support Workers. Their energy, knowledge and passion are just what our team need. Their role is to ENGAGE, GUIDE & SUPPORT our staff and help ensure our staff feel confident and listened to.
