Our April and May Carers of the Month
We have been so busy here at Caremark Cheltenham. So much so that we have not posted our April and May Carers of the Month. Which is shocking considering we are now in July!
Our April Carer of the Month
Was this lovely lady Marie.
Our wonderful Marie who was nominated by the office for going above and beyond by one of her clients. Marie went out of her way to wash all of this client’s clothes at home. This was because the client was facing some difficulties.
Well done and thank you Marie!
Our May Carer of the Month
The fabulous Danny was our carer of the month for May.
Danny always goes anywhere without any ‘kerfuffle’ and last minute changes don’t faze him at all. Most importantly, he is always polite to the office team and his clients.

Some myths debunked about the role of a Care Assistant
* You won’t have to work full-time, evenings or weekends. Caremark Cheltenham & Tewkesbury is happy to provide part-time hours to help you with any existing care responsibilities.
* Care assistants can be any age over 18.
* Care assistants don’t need to be strong or fit. Our care assistants do not have to lift clients as the majority are able to walk around and are not bed bound.
* Care assistants do not have to be medically trained or have medical qualifications; you will be given relevant training once you start your care assistant role.
Therefore, we at Caremark Cheltenham & Tewkesbury pride ourselves on the service we provide to clients who need care but want to remain in their home.
Finally, the care we provide can just be helping the client with day-to-day domestic activities, such as meal preparation, defrosting the freezer, watering the plants or simply someone to talk to.
You need to care – that’s what’s important to us and our clients.
