Bringing the Community Together

Caremark Arun recently partnered with Walberton Place Care Home in Arundel to support the Elevenses Community Cuppa and Village Friends gathering. The event was full of warmth, laughter, and friendly conversation. Everyone enjoyed a welcoming atmosphere throughout the morning.

It was especially lovely to see some of our wonderful clients attending, including our very own Myrtle. At 101 years young, she continues to inspire us all.

A Warm Welcome for Guests

Walberton Place Care Home plays an important role in supporting the local community. We are delighted that this partnership is just beginning.

Our Regional Support Manager, Dale Peacock, welcomed guests alongside Registered Manager Kayleigh Whitehouse and Supervisor Mo Cook. They greeted people as they arrived and helped create a friendly environment from the start.

Enjoying Good Company

Deputy Manager Lauren Moody spent time chatting with clients during the event. One gentleman shared his passion for playing the drums, making for a particularly enjoyable conversation.

Several of our fantastic carers also attended. They collected clients on the way to the event and provided transport home afterwards. Their support helped more people attend and enjoy the day.

Tea, Coffee and Cake

Guests enjoyed tea, coffee, and a delicious selection of cakes provided by Walberton Place. The coffee and walnut cake quickly became a favourite among attendees.

Our clients appreciated the chance to get out, socialise with our team, and meet new people. Many spoke about how much they enjoyed spending time in such a friendly and supportive setting.

Looking Ahead

Community events like these help people connect, build friendships, and stay engaged with local activities. They also give everyone something positive to look forward to.

Caremark Arun looks forward to working with Walberton Place Care Home again. We are already excited about future partnership events and hope to welcome even more people next time.
