Our Carer of the Moment – Samina Khan

It’s important to recognise the signs of a stroke and then quickly respond. This is exactly what Samina done with one of her customers and saved his life.

Samina said, “I walked into his house and noticed he did not look well and quickly identified the signs of a stroke”, she quickly responded by calling the emergency services, “while dialling 999 and describing how he looked and felt I was making him comfortable and ensuring his airways were clear. The ambulance arrived quickly but it felt like a very long time. I was glad to see them and even more happy to see he is back home safe and well”.

Samina you are truly a life saver and should be proud of what you have done. From all the staff, well done and thank you.
