Happy 100th Birthday Charlie!
We are incredibly proud to share that over the last 3 years, our Managing Director, Herkesh Malhi, has been volunteering with Age UK as part of their befriending service.
During this time Herkesh has had the pleasure of meeting and forming a valuable friendship with Charlie. Since meeting three years ago, he has visited Charlie every week at his home to keep him company, share stories, and ultimately make a positive difference to his day!
Six months ago, Charlie moved into a care home however Herkesh has continued to keep in touch and they still remain very good friends.
Last week, Charlie celebrated a remarkable milestone – his 100th Birthday! It’s not everyday that we get to witness such incredible moments of joy and longevity. Herkesh had the honour of visiting and presenting Charlie with a heartfelt birthday card and gifts, and extended his warm wishes.
Charlie – may your days continue to be filled with joy, love, and the warmth of those who care for you. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your journey.
