About the royal garden party: Nara’s words
“I was absolutely over the moon to attend the Royal Garden Party. It was once in a life time experience. Thank you so much for your nomination. It was so busy first of all. When we arrived at 3pm there was a queue to get security clearance, but luckily some policemen let us in without having to wait. That was lucky! The Buckingham Palace Gardens are magnificent, so beautifully preserved and maintained.
There were 3 big tents, the big one was for the guests and other two were for diplomats and royal family. We were welcomed with military band playing music, people mingling, getting posh afternoon tea which was basically a selection of sandwiches cakes and scones. I later learned there were 8,000 people attending the garden party.
At 4pm the Royal Family appeared after playing the national anthem. Prince and Princess of Wales, Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and other members of the royal family.
Guests stand in several lanes where one member of the royal family coming to each lane and talk to people. We met Princess Kate who walked down our lane. Some people were called out to meet her in person. I went dressed in Mongolian traditional clothes.
We had such a great day, it was lovely to talk to other people and learn about their achievements and stories. Thank you once again for nominating me. And thank you for giving me the opportunity to attend the royal garden party! Caremark really cares about their employees and I am proud to represent the company.“
