The Caremark Team continues to grow
On 15th November 2019, Natalie, Alexis and Nicola completed their Caremark training. We are honoured to have them as part of the team.
Here at Caremark we pride ourselves on our high training and staff standards. The training is thorough and intensive. We use a blended learning process which involves the training being a combination of theory, mandatory and practical learning. We do this to ensure that each and every person undergoing the training understands every aspect of their role and what is expected from them by their customers and managers as a Care and Support Workers. They need to be familiar with our policies and procedures and our customer reporting documentation.
All our Care and Support Workers work towards completing their Care Certificate and they are encouraged to progress to further qualifications in the Care Sector. Their mandatory training covers the following areas:
* Fire Safety
* First Aid
* Food Hygiene
* Infection Control
* Medication
* Moving and handling
* Safeguarding
The Care and Support Workers then have a period of in-field training where they shadow senior Care and Support Workers, supervisors and managers before they begin to support customers.
The intensive training equips our Care and Support Workers with the skills they require to effectively carry out their roles and support their customers as a skilled workforce.
