Positive Care Experiences at Caremark Cheltenham and Gloucester

As you know we love to share any positive care experiences about our carers. Therefore, we are extremely happy and proud to share the following feedback from our customers.
Positive Care Experience No. 1 – Our Care Assistant for August
Our Care Assistant for August was Haramrit.
We have had amazing compliments from a customer who suffers from Motor Neurons. Because Haramrit makes this customer feel so special. After helping with personal care, Haramrit gives this customer a head massage and it makes him feel amazing.
Sounds perfection!
Positive Care Experience No. 2
Haramrit and Abdul were finishing off a double up call. They were coming out of the customer’s house, and were waved down by the customer’s neighbour who was having breathing difficulties.
They stayed with this person, called an ambulance and made sure they were alright. Also, ensuring that paramedics had arrived before leaving for their next call.
How lovely is that?!

Positive Care Experience No. 3
Another positive care experience about Sunil who supports a young man, “B”, at weekends and during the school holidays. B is 15 and has Autism. Therefore, B finds change difficult and needs time to build up relationships with those outside his family. We matched Sunil to this care package and Sunil has been supporting B since May 2025.
Moreover, this is the recent feedback we have received from B’s mum;
“We have been very impressed with Sunny’s visits and his interactions with B. It’s a great match and B has been very happy! The communication with us as parents is also excellent. Thank you very much. Is there any kind of employee boost or “carer of the month” sort of incentive that we could nominate him for?”
Here is a photograph of Sunil receiving his Care Assistant of the Month award for September. Well done Sunny!
They came back!!!!
Positive Care Experience No. 4 – After a full-on day 1 induction training with Frances, which was beset with internet connection issues, our 4 lovely recruits who promised to return DID RETURN for Day 2, and Moving & Handling.

And here they are, Mantasha, Eileen, Joe and Muhammed in our training room with Jo Folkes.
Accordingly, at Caremark we believe the only skills you need to become an amazing carer are caring skills. Further, our 4-day intensive training course covers all the other things you will needs to begin your career in care and sets you up on the right path to achieve your Care Certificate within 12 weeks.
Well done everyone – and here’s to a successful week.
