Supporting our local communities

At Caremark Leeds Bradford we believe that care extends far beyond the walls of people’s homes but also about supporting our local communities and giving something back when we can.
There have been a good few examples of this recently, beginning with a coffee morning we held to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
As the UK’s leading cancer care charity, it plays a vital role in supporting people with cancer in our communities so to say thank you we took part in their annual coffee morning with staff bringing in cakes to our office and making a donation to the charity. It was a lovely morning for a great cause.

Charity was also firmly on our minds when we ran a clothes donation scheme in support of Emmaus Leeds, a local homeless charity. Both carers and office staff took part and we managed to collect a large number of items. A representative from Emmaus came to the office to collect everything and was very grateful for our support.

We also attended the Leeds Beckett University as part of Freshers’ Week where we had a stand letting students know about the job opportunities available at Caremark Leeds Bradford whilst they study or after they graduate. We had lots of interest from the students and are hopefully looking forward to welcoming them to our team in the future.
