February 2026 Memory Cafe – A Morning of Creativity and Celebration
February’s Memory Cafe was a warm and uplifting morning filled with creativity, connection and celebration. Our monthly Memory Cafe continues to provide a supportive and welcoming space for people living with dementia and their loved ones to come together. This month’s session included arts and crafts, music, meaningful conversation and two very special birthdays. It was a wonderful morning enjoyed by everyone who attended.
Creativity and Connection at Our Memory Cafe
At our February Memory Cafe, the group enjoyed a relaxed arts and crafts session, with everyone showing their creative side. The activity sparked plenty of conversation and laughter, making the morning feel lively and engaging.
Afterwards, there was time to sit together over tea and treats, catch up, and enjoy each other’s company. This was followed by music and singing, which helped create a joyful and comfortable atmosphere throughout the morning.
Celebrating Margaret and Marci
This month, we were delighted to celebrate two birthdays. Happy Birthday to Margaret and Marci!
We would like to give a special thank you to Marci, who has been part of the Memory Cafe since it began five years ago. As a dedicated care assistant, she brings warmth, positivity and enthusiasm to every session. Marci plays an important role in organising activities and always ensures that everyone feels included and supported. We are truly grateful for her continued commitment.
Looking Ahead to Our Next Memory Café
We’re already looking forward to the next Memory Cafe in March, which will be Saint Patrick’s Day themed! If you or a loved one would like to come along, please contact Christopher on 028 9146 7004. The Memory Cafe is a welcoming place for all Caremark NI service users with a medical diagnosis of Alzheimer’s, dementia or any other cognitive impairment, along with their families and carers.
