Wedding Preparation

Going above and beyond for our Customers just comes naturally here at Caremark Ashford and Shepway. Here we have Mr W looking very smart in his suit for his Great Granddaughters wedding last Thursday. Mr W is diagnosed with Dementia, and with the support of his Family, Care Assistant Kirstin and our Registered Care Manager Barbra, he was able to stay safe and settled with the lead up to the wedding day.

On the day, Mr W was supported to dress in his pre-prepared suit and was ready for his Daughter and Son-in-Law to collect him. As you can see from the photo’s Mr W, his daughter and son-in-law looked very smart and happy, without worrying that Mr W wouldn’t be able to attend.

When the evening came and it was time for Mr W to return home, he was greeted outside of his home by Kirstin and Barbra, who ensured Mr W was able to mobilise safely back into his home and his teatime visit remained in place, with extended time given to settle him and assist him into bed after such a busy day.

We have permission from his family to share these details – Thank you for allowing us to be part of such a wonderful memory for you all.

Along side these photo’s is the gratitude from Mr W and his family for ensuring Mr W was apart of such an important day.
