Caremark offices report mass Covid-19 vaccinations
Some very positive news from the network of in-home care and support offices throughout the UK.
Research conducted recently has revealed that over 65% of the 7000 frontline Care & Support Workers employed by the 110 local in-home care providers have now received their first jab, with some offices reassuringly reporting 100% of their Care & Support Workers have received theirs. One of these offices is Caremark (Warwick) who have said: “We are pleased to report that all members of the Caremark Warwick team have now received their first jabs.”
This very encouraging news on top of all the great work already being carried out over the last year to protect their local communities, continuing to do all they possibly can to protect both customers and care team’s alike, such as plentiful supplies of PPE, infection control training and implementing the very latest advice around safeguarding against contracting Coronavirus as soon as its available.
This news must be very reassuring to the public following the announcement on 30 December that a second COVID-19 vaccine, from Oxford/AstraZeneca, had been authorised by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for use in the United Kingdom.
