Some great feedback from one of our Carers

Our Carer Silvia has been studying at Coventry University and needed some work to fit around her studies. We provided that for her and she was able to work part-time and during her holidays.

We asked her what she liked about working with us and this is what she said:

“I have enjoyed my time working for Caremark Warwick, and everyone in the team. The desire to help people is the core quality that everyone working in care should genuinely have and you can sense it when you see them. Their good hearts, sense of humour, and trustworthiness are also qualities that set the company apart from others and are a reason why they provide excellent care.

Everyone has always been extremely helpful, and they made me feel at ease right from the start. I was doing my final year at Coventry University while working for them, and it was very important for me to do well. The company was always thoughtful of my concerns and the flexible shifts they offer made it easier for me to cope and balance my work and studies. They always put their employee’s and customers’ needs first, which is why you know can rely on them.

I have worked in care for nearly 3 years now, and I can definitely say the experience Caremark Warwick offered me has been invaluable. Effective communication skills, working in a team, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations are only a fraction of the skills I’ve learned.

Helping vulnerable groups of people is a very rewarding job, but also comes with a great responsibility. Working for Caremark Warwick has taught me patience and helped me gain a deeper level of understanding of people’s needs and struggles.

I really treasure the skills I gained as they will help my future development as a psychologist, especially after seeing how well the multidisciplinary teams are in this fieldwork.
