Carer of the Year

We used nominations from our customers and staff to choose the winners of our first live Care Assistant of the year awards.

The award ceremony was staged in front of customers who attend our Coffee Club. It’s a monthly community-based initiative aimed at combating loneliness and social isolation.

After an end-of-year Christmas party featuring a visit from Father Christmas and free fish and chips, 30 of our customers got to see if the care workers they had nominated had won an award.
