Our first Care Assistant Awards

On 1st May 2025, we hosted our first Care Assistant Awards at Hotel Du Vin, Harrogate. The purpose of this event was to celebrate the heroes of our organisation, and give them the recognition they deserve.

The main award – The David Chibiya Award of Excellence – is in memory of a very dear Care Assistant who sadly passed away in 2024. David was an exceptional CA, and he is missed dearly by everybody. We were so grateful to Davids family for attending our awards day, and to present the award to the winner.

It gives us the greatest pride to announce the winners of our awards as follows:

Care-Coordinator choice award winners (as chosen by Beth and Linzi) – Salmanul and Ruth

Field Care Supervisor choice award winner (as chosen by Sarah and Marie) – Rowena, Angela and Jennie

Care Assistant of the year for area 1 (Royal) – Daphne

Care Assistant of the year for area 2 (Sage) – Gemma

And the winner of a very special award: The David Chibiya Award of Excellence – Helen

All of our Care Assistants work tirelessly to meet the needs of our customers, and everyone who received recognition for the work that they do received a medal and certificate to celebrate their dedication to their work.

We are already looking forward to our awards in 2026!
