A strong hand

When we came to this country and joined this company, we saw a company with only three customers and almost all of us were non-drivers. All we needed was a strong hand to take the company forward.

We were ready for the job. We were committed to the work. We tried our best not to let our inability to drive hinder the company’s work. But we needed something to boost us.

Suddenly one day, a strong leader called Alison came and she was probably surprised to see a bunch of non drivers in the home care sector.

But with her great talent, she started using these non-drivers. I was also very enthusiastic at that time. I was very happy for the first job she gave me. She went with me. She showed me the job at Joyce’s call and trusted me. I  travelled for 5 hours and made the 30-minute call every day to keep her faith intact.

Maybe this is how the journey of trust began. She also started trusting us and went down with another leader to work with these non-drivers. It became a very well led management with Alison, Michele and Yomi.

Perhaps in the care sector, it was a big deal to run a homecare company with so many non-drivers but it was planned well, managed well and we made it work.

At work, it seemed like they were working for a family.

Thank you Alison, thank you Michele, thank you Yomi.

I am proud to be a member of Caremark Doncaster, Bassetlaw and West Lindsey.

I am proud to have worked with the greatest leaders.
