Highlighting the Importance of Home Care in Cheshire South East

From personal care to specialist support, our dedicated team is here to make a real difference every day. We wanted to share that with the local community and spread the word.
Welcome to the Mayor and Mayoress
We were thrilled to showcase ourselves and the work we do for the community with a special event made even more memorable with the presence of the Mayor of Cheshire and the Mayoress of Crewe. It was a proud moment to share with them what we do in the community and share our vision for compassionate, high-quality care. They were delighted to hear about our work and meet our team and also the plan to provide up to 75 jobs in the coming years.
Importance of Home Care
We also shared some statistics about the areas rising home care needs noting that the population in Cheshire East has grown by 8% over the last decade and the average age is five years above the UK average. With nearly 5% of the local population already receiving home care, the need for high-quality, local support has never been greater. It also offers much needed relief to the NHS and freeing up beds and much needed services. We will work in partnership with the NHS and local authorities.
At the opening event, the Mayor thanked Caremark Cheshire South East for their valued support in the community. She highlighted that the profession of care is certainly not easy, as it involves caring for the most vulnerable people and applauded the Caremark Cheshire South East staff for all their hard work in providing this essential service, which is increasingly required in our current economic climate.
Cheshire East Community
It was also great to have the support of – and to shine a spotlight on – the amazing local businesses and charities based at Brierley Business Centre. We’re lucky to share the space with passionate and impactful organisations like Men in Sheds, Handson Safety Services, Cheshire and Warrington Carers Trust, Henry Maguire Counselling, and many others who do such important work here in Crewe and the surrounding area.
Busy Month
Providing Personal Care in Cheshire South East is rewarding and ensures we are kept busy. Our favourite part is working with our customers and making a difference to their lives every day. As the Mayor highlighted this is an essential service which will be needed more in the future.
We can’t do this without our great team. In the past month, our team has grown, bringing in new, enthusiastic professionals who are helping us expand and strengthen our services. We’re continuing to provide high-quality care and support across the community, including:
