I’m proud to begin a new chapter as the Care Manager of Caremark Cheshire South East, bringing over two decades of hands-on and strategic experience in the care sector. My journey started in 2004, and since then I’ve worked across a wide range of areas, including frontline care and support, recruitment, training, and quality assurance. Throughout my career, I’ve remained committed to delivering the highest standards of care, always with a person-centred approach. I’ve developed strong systems to meet both personal and professional KPIs, and I believe that compassionate care must go hand-in-hand with operational excellence. At Caremark Cheshire South East, I’m combining my passion for care with deep-rooted experience to make a genuine difference in our community — supporting individuals to live safely, independently, and with dignity in their own homes.

Field Care Supervisor

Hello,

My name is Louise and everyone calls me Lou! I have always loved working in care and supporting people. I have many years of experience working with people within the care sector across a variety of roles. My background is nursing, primarily in Manchester where I trained and qualified as a staff nurse. This gave me the opportunity to work in Paediatrics, A & E, Orthopaedics and supporting the Discharge teams. Upon leaving the NHS I decided to continue with my love affair of working and supporting people by moving into homecare. I did briefly flirt with hospitality and catering which was a fantastic experience but the lure of caring for people was too strong and I came back to what I know best. My favourite part of my job is meeting people, their families and forming close bonds with everyone. Everyday is different and rewarding and I truly believe we make a difference to how people live in their own homes.

I am passionate about ensuring our customers have individual plans and support and that we listen to them daily as their wants, needs and desires can change all the time. I am equally as passionate about our team, how we support them and lookout out for one another and give everyone the right environment to thrive. We have a great team here.

I love working for Caremark and I am so proud of my achievements here and will continue to grow and develop within my role. We are determined to make a difference to everyone we meet day in and day out. I am so proud to be the Field Care Supervisor here at Caremark Cheshire South East and I am lucky to continue to work in a sector which I adore and have the opportunity make a difference.

I have more than 25 years of experience leading and supporting teams whilst delivering exceptional customer service. My focus is to deliver the highest standard of professional care and support to those who want to remain in their own home and community. Like many people in this wonderful sector, I have had family who have been lucky enough to have been supported in their own home by people who were sensitive, caring, compassionate and went out their own way to support. This is what I want to bring to our community.

My team and I are committed to building relationships with people, their friends and family to encourage everyone to live as full a life as possible. My passion is to invest in our people to ensure they have everything they need to deliver individually tailored care support and ensure we are the best Homecare provider within the region.
