This week is Mental Health Awareness Week.
Anxiety is the theme for 2023.
Anxiety is a normal emotion in us all and it is a natural response to the uncertainty we face in the world around us.
Sometimes it can get out of control and become a mental health problem.
Lots of different things can lead to feelings of anxiety, relationships, starting a new job, bereavement, trauma or other big life events.
Focusing on anxiety for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week will help increase people’s awareness and understanding of anxiety and encourage people to share their experiences and any helpful ideas on how they manage anxiety.
