Impressive carer reviews and June update
As you know here at Caremark Cheltenham and Gloucester, we like to shout out about any impressive carer reviews we receive and also provide an update on what we have been up to. Its been a very busy month!
Some recent impressive carer reviews
Frances was speaking to a customer, DH, the other day about her enquiry about the GenieLite. Unfortunately, it’s not for her as it can’t take the place of her carers coming in twice a day. Her carers come in to not only help her get up and dressed but then again at the end of the day to get ready for bed.
However, every cloud has a silver lining 😊 DH was very complimentary about her carers who come to her every day. She said that they always go over and above and help her even with the smallest thing. She even went so far as to say that they can’t do enough for her, even when they might be tired and have worked a long day. They are always nice and kind to her.

Also, we took a lovely call from a daughter of a customer with a glowing review.
“Roshni dealt with a difficult incident with calmness and professionalism whilst showing genuine care for my mother. I am so pleased that my mother was in such safe hands.”
June update
This month we had our quarterly team meeting with the team where we provide pizza, and snacks. We ran through a group workshop, ensuring that the team have all the up to date information to allow them to provide high quality care.
We then thanked the team by handing out gifts to those carers who had participated in mental health awareness week.
Mike and Sarah had a really interesting visit to the Gloucestershire Carers Hub this month. There are so many great schemes and initiatives to support both volunteers and carers with plenty of signpost opportunities for the team and our customers.
Caremark Cheltenham & Gloucester also welcomed some new recruits. Here they are completing the medication tasks on the ACP app.
