Care beyond the elderly

At Caremark Cheltenham Gloucester, we don’t just support and provide care to the elderly. We are also here for children and young people who need a helping hand navigating the world around them.

Last weekend, one of our amazing Field Care Supervisors, Jess, introduced a carer to a young person and their family. We were so pleased as the connection was instant! 💬🎬

The carer and young person chatted about Disney movies, future adventures like going to the cinema, riding buses and trains, and exploring new places.

The visit ended with a very special moment: a handshake from the young person. This is something his family said had never happened before due to his discomfort with physical contact. ❤️

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do – providing care to both the young and elderly.
