Carer saves a customer’s life!

Quick thinking from one of our carers, proved to be the most important thing she did that day!

Patsy Gibbons is a real hero!

Recently, she saved the life of one of our customers as she was choking and struggling to breath. Patsy tried to deliver some sharp blows to her back, but it didn’t work, she then went on to deliver 2 abdominal thrusts – and low and behold, the customer took a breath!

Without the quick thinking of Patsy, this would have ended sadly.

We presented Patsy with a beautiful arrangement of flowers and a bottle of Prosecco and for once – Patsy was stuck for words!
She assured me that she will have the Prosecco chilled and sip it with her husband over the weekend to celebrate her heroism!
