The opening of our Memory Café

We had a brilliant morning at our Memory Café on Tuesday.

Thank you to our special guest, local MLA-Stephen Dunne who opened the Memory Café and spent the morning with us.

We would also like to thank, Frank Beattie who came along to invite our customers and family members to a fantastic new initiative he is apart of.

Frank has set up “The Memory Church”, this is a Sunday church service that is especially organised for customers with dementia and their family members.

We also had Cheryl Downes return, to lead us all in a beautiful uplifting Sing-A-Long.

Our customers also got to make colourful thank you cards and birthday cards with Marci which they were able to design and take home.

Thank you to Cheryl and Marci and all our customers and team for a wonderful morning.

We are already looking forward to our next Memory Café!
