Re:Source Programme
Our Directors, Richard and Emily had a great morning last week spending some time with the students at Re:Source.
Sophie from Re:Source explains a bit about the programme below.
“Re:Source is a programme from Bangor Elim Church that works with students from Killard House School and Orchardville, young adults between 16-25 with learning disabilities.
The programme is a training and mentoring programme that aims to provide an opportunity to learn new skills in various work based environments, with the intention that the experience the students gain will help them secure a job in the future. Our main areas of work experiences are in Bangor Foodbank and Community Support, sorting away food and making up food parcels. Bangor Elim’s Source Tea Rooms, a cafe open to the public where the students of the programme help with barista duties and a car valeting service, where the students clean and valet cars inside and outside”.
Caremark is very much a community focused organisation and we are really pleased to be able to sponsor and support such a valuable programme in our local community making a difference to these young people’s lives.
